The Department of Transportation Services is committed to providing transportation alternatives for the members of the University of Maryland community. To that end, the department has provided options to bringing a car everyday to campus.

• Green Permit
  The Green Permit allows a 20 percent discount on a permit for drivers of vehicles that meet the EPA's qualifying standards.

  Have only the occasional need to drive a vehicle to campus? Try these one-day parking permits sold in packs of 10 for $40.
  
  
• Bicycling
  We are working to improve biking conditions on campus including more parking, bike lanes and signage among other things.

  Want to share the cost of a permit and receive a discount on top of that? Register in our database and set up a carpool with others on campus.
